Customer Support Specialist
The Customer Support Specialist provides highly responsive quality service to customers. Log and categorize each customer interaction in customer tracking system. Provides technical support to end-user customers to navigate multiple online applications and products. Trouble-shoot, triage and problem solve complex, technical issues for customers. The Data Scientist will take a leadership role in analyzing and presenting results based on large health care databases such as HEDIS clinical quality data and CAHPS, HOS member survey data and field test data. Major responsibilities include understanding content area, determining what the data means, defining analysis plans and selecting appropriate statistical methods, conducting quantitative analysis, programming in SAS, R, STATA or other programming languages, ensuring an effective quality analysis plan, and communication with internal and external clients. The data scientist is expected to spot patterns in the underlying data and be able to explain the trends to non-technical stakeholders. Serves as the technical lead on the technical design, development, and statistical methodology determination. Develops and enforces technical processes and standards. Produces software development lifecycle documentation and troubleshoots technical issues related to programming code execution. Maintains current industry knowledge on the trends of technology as related to the architecting and programming. The holder of this position must be able to work independently on multiple projects in coordination with other internal and external project team members.
Health Care Analyst, Performance Measurement
The Health Care Analyst provides research and project support. The Health Care Analyst supports multiple externally funded projects and NCQA programs focused on health care policy, performance measures development and implementation of quality review and oversight activities. Major responsibilities: gathering and synthesizing information obtained from various sources, including literature and evidence reviews and consulting with methodological and content experts; performing and managing tasks in all phases of a project including research, data collection, data analysis and production of draft reports and proposals. The Health Care Analyst also communicates with internal and external clients.
Health Care Analyst, Quality Solutions Group
The Health Care Analyst role is in the organization’s consulting group and it provides operational and oversight support for contracts, which are initially specified as related to the implementation of national patient experience and functional status assessments using CAHPS and Medicare Health Outcomes survey instruments. This position may support other national and state contracts that implement and use health care quality information. It involves tasks in all phases of multiple projects including training, quality oversight, data collection, preparation and quality assurance of written deliverables and customer service. Additional responsibilities include analytical and general project support, such as research, data collection, data analysis, and production of reports. The Analyst must have very strong writing skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently on multiple tasks/projects in coordination with other internal and external project team members. Ten to twenty percent travel may be required depending on specific contract requirements.

The person will serve as the technical lead on the design, development, and implementation of this framework and enforce adherence to both the technical processes and standards used for its development. The position also requires maintaining current industry knowledge on the trends of technology as related to the architecture and will represent NCQA’s work to scientific and key stakeholder audiences as well as enhance NCQA’s reputation for leadership through public speaking, publications and the creation of strategic partnerships. Senior Analyst, E-Measures
This position supports the maintenance of eMeasures. Major responsibilities include managing the timelines for updating and maintaining eMeasures, updating the measures in the measure authoring tool, updating code sets for eMeasures in the Value Set Authority Center, and communicating with internal and external customers.

The Senior Research Associate in the Quality Measurement & Research Group is principally responsible for managing the development and evaluation of quality measure initiatives. The Senior Research Associate must be highly organized, demonstrate creativity and proficiency in applying analytical methods using complex data, and make difficult decisions while operating in contingent environments. This position requires specialized knowledge of health related topics, specifically an in-depth knowledge of nationally-recognized quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS, ACO, MU), industry standard code sets (e.g., ICD, CPT, SNOMED), and data sources (e.g., claims, encounter, registry, charts, EHRs and survey).
Senior Research Scientist
The Senior Research Scientist will provide senior level quantitative analysis, technical assistance, project leadership & management, proposal leadership and project development support to performance measurement and to other areas of NCQA as needed. In addition, the position will assist with, and in some cases oversee, implementation of NCQA’s projects consistent with the mission and vision of the organization including the development of proposals related to internally and externally funded contracts and grants, internal reports & scientific manuscripts, as well as making key contributions to collaborative research projects with corporate, university and government groups.
